Each year, our teachers recommend students for inclusion in ADAPT and Cecchetti examinations. If you child is chosen, notes will be sent home with additional information as well as a permission slip.

ADAPT Exams

ADAPT (Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers), represents an elite group of dance teachers and studios who follow the ADAPT syllabus and enter their students in the yearly examination process. At DBSD our teachers attend ADAPT teacher courses, keep up with syllabus revisions, uphold the ADAPT standard at all times and prepare our dancers for their Tap and Jazz examinations.
